Four teachers, and the evenings each one teaches

Jerald opened Downbeat for adults who were told as children that they had no ear, and for adults who stopped playing long ago. He teaches piano and reading music, and he teaches on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Paulette teaches acoustic and electric guitar, bass and ukulele, and she leads the Sunday ukulele circle. She starts with chords you can use at once and keeps the first month gentle on your fingers.

Mukul teaches violin and cello to adults who have never held a bow and to players coming back to strings. He is patient with the bow, and he will tell you that the first weeks sound rough for everyone.

Isidora teaches voice, with a piano beside you, and piano for singers who want to accompany themselves. She starts with breath and a comfortable range, and nobody sings alone in front of a room until they choose to.
